Thirteen-time Emmy Award-winning producer Ellen Rakieten launched her production company within Critical Content in April 2010. Prior to founding Ellen Rakieten Entertainment, Ms. Rakieten co-created and executive produced The Oprah Winfrey Show for more than two decades. During her tenure at Harpo, Ms. Rakieten created and developed Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and oprah.com while overseeing the launches of Rachael RayO Magazine and the Oprah and Friends SiriusXM Channel. 

Ellen Rakieten Entertainment’s notable credits include a partnership with Jerry Seinfeld to create and executive produce The Marriage Ref (NBC), Losing It with Jillian (NBC) starring Jillian Michaels, Undateable: 311 Things Guys do that Guarantee They Won’t be Dating or Having Sex (VH1), Money Hungry (VH1), Hollywood Girls Night (TV Guide), the Emmy Award-winning Trisha’s Southern Kitchen (Food Network) starring Trisha Yearwood, Hideous Houses (A&E), Teen Trouble (Lifetime), Pretty Wicked Moms (Lifetime), All About Sex (TLC), Zoe Saldana Presents My Hero (AOL), Get Swank'd (FYI) and Pretty. Strong. (Oxygen).

Undateable (NBC) is a scripted sitcom based on Ms. Rakieten’s book of the same name.  Undateable (NBC) premiered in 2014 and was the highest rated summer program on the network in more than five years. A third all-live season debuted in the Fall of 2015.  Ellen Rakieten Entertainment is currently working on multiple projects for several cable and broadcast networks including a third season of Car Matchmaker with Spike Feresten on Esquire as well as many others with E!, HGTV, Vh1 and more.
